アイヌモシリ（國學院大学博物館） AYNU Mosir (Kokugakuin Univercity Museum)

国立アイヌ民族博物館との共催となった特別展。

國學院大学博物館の金田一記念文庫からの資料や、松浦武四郎の日誌などの展示が多かった。

それらの資料に記述されている生活用具などが、国立アイヌ民族博物館の収蔵品から展示されていた。

共催とは言え、東京からは訪れることが難しい国立アイヌ民族博物館の収蔵品をもっと目にしたかったのだが、ごく僅かな展示でとても残念だった。

松浦武四郎が自らの調査に基づいて作った北海道及び周辺の島々の地図が、拡大されて展示されていたが、その細かに改めて驚かされた。

知里幸惠、山本多助、萱野茂などの書物も展示されていた。必ずしも展示されていたものでないが、彼らの書物を読んだことがあった。

いわゆる日本人は、ナチスのようにユダヤ人を矯正収容所に送ったり、イスラエルのように無防備なガザのパレスチナの人々を攻撃したり、そのようにアイヌの人々を扱ったわけではない。

しかし、そうではなくても、結果的にアイヌの人々の伝統的な暮らしの多くは失われてしまった。

せめてこれからは、アイヌの文化を保護し、アイヌの人々を支えつづけなければならないだろう。

This special exhibition was held in collaboration with the National Ainu Museum.

Many of the exhibits were from the Kindaichi Memorial Library at the Kokugakuin University Museum, as well as Matsuura Takeshiro's journal.

The items described in these documents were on display from the collection of the National Ainu Museum.

Even though the exhibition was held in collaboration, I would have liked to see more of the collection at the National Ainu Museum, which is difficult to visit from Tokyo, but unfortunately there was only a small amount on display.

An enlarged map of Hokkaido and the surrounding islands that Matsuura Takeshiro made based on his own research was on display, and I was once again amazed at how detailed it was.

Books by Chiri Yukie, Yamamoto Tasuke, Kayano Shigeru, and others were also on display. I have read their books, although they were not necessarily on display.

The so-called Japanese did not treat the Ainu people in the way that the Nazis did, sending Jews to prison camps, or attacking the defenseless Palestinians in Gaza, as Israel did.

But even if this had not been the case, the result was that much of the traditional way of life of the Ainu people was lost.

From now on, at the very least, we must continue to protect Ainu culture and support the Ainu people.
